Year 5
Welcome to the mighty Year 5!
I am Mr Ahearne and I am proud to be the class teacher in Year 5. In class, the students are supported by Miss Ward (TA).
Time in the class is a mixture of lively learning, delightful discussions and lots of other magical moments!
The below link gives an overview of the learning for Autumn Term 2021, but I will always endeavour to sneak in more laughter and learning where possible.
This term I am particular excited to share the learning in Geography, where we will learning about events like tsunamis and earthquakes, before delving in to the detail of volcanoes.
Another bit of learning I am looking forward to later in the term will be the text 'Kensuke's Kingdom' which tells us of a boy washed up on an island and the trust and friendship that develops with someone he discovers on the island.
