Baldwins Gate Primary School is a Voluntary Controlled Church of England school supported by its local parish churches.

Our staff and governors are committed to providing an excellent education within the context of the Christian faith, which is underpinned by the Lichfield Diocese syllabus. We value all children as ‘children of God’ and welcome them into our caring, happy and safe Church of England school family.

Our vision, created by our school community, enables and inspires those we serve to achieve their goals and aspirations. We accomplish this through our unwavering Christian ethos, which permeates all that we do, as we value every member of our school community regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or faith.

At Baldwins Gate Primary School we pride ourselves in knowing the children and their families personally. Staff know the true value of taking time to develop these positive relationships. Every adult knows that to inspire a child can spark a lifetime of curiosity. They recognise that when combined with Jesus’ message to 'let your light shine', curiosity can be harnessed to create courage, advocacy and hope for the future that we will flourish to be the very best that we can be. Our school aims to provide opportunities for all children to develop as independent, confident, successful learners with high aspirations who know how to make a positive contribution to their diverse community and the wider society.  There is a high focus on developing children’s moral, spiritual, social and cultural understanding through the Christian values of love, joy and perseverance.
