Induction programme

Our normal induction programme consists of an Information Evening for Parents taking place in June from 6.15 – 7.00 pm giving staff an opportunity to provide you with an overview of our Early Years provision and a chance for you to meet other parents. 

​We then invite you a Stay and Play sessions from 2.00 – 3.00 pm during June or July.

​In addition to the above, we like to arrange for Nursery staff to visit children at home or at their current Nursery setting.  

Nursery admissions and the government's 30 hour childcare scheme

From September 2017 parents could be eligible to receive an additional 15 hours of free education and childcare a week, on top of the current entitlement of 15 hours for 3 and 4 year olds. 

To get the additional 15 hours, families who meet the earnings criteria will need to make an online application to HMRC.

At Baldwins Gate Primary School, we offer:

• 9.00 am – 3.30 pm in an outstanding provision (term time only)

• Professional and qualified Early Years staff

• Nursery lunchtime session from 1200 - 1230 (additional fees apply)

• A safe, stimulating and welcoming environment

In addition to the 30 hours we also offer:

• Hot lunches (additional fees apply)

• BUZZ Breakfast Club (0800 – 0900) – subject to availability

• BUZZ Afterschool Club (1530 – 1730) – subject to availability

Part-time places of 15 hours and Nursery Wraparound will still be available
